"AZ-1" acrylic on wood 9" x 32" After a recent trip to the Phoenix area I felt inspired to paint this cactus image. Unlike many cactus varieties which vary from cold and harsh to comical and silly, this one struck me with a strange sarcastic sensuality. I was drawn in by the smooth surfaces, the deep shadows, and shifting colors of green. *** $275.00 |
"Concha Bullosa" acrylic on masonite 26" x 12" This painting is an interpretation of a coronal CT scan through the face. Scanning at this level highlights intra-nasal anatomy revealing several sinuses, the nasal septum, and the location of the orbit.
***$475.00 |

"Sun Room" 4'x5' acrylic on canvas with moss texture. It shows a slice of ground bone including the haversian canals and corresponding osteocytes. This painting was commissioned and finished in 2006. |
"Grandpa Dale" 18" x 12" Acrylic on Canvas During the last couple months of my Grandpa's struggle with cancer, I worked on this painting to be a memorial for the family after his passing. Thankfully, I was able to finish it and send it to be viewed at the funeral. Grandpa led an active and vibrant life and has always been surrounded with loving family- he is missed greatly. |
